Edge Radio’s longest running program, Tasmusica, is a weekly one hour program dedicated to original Tasmanian music.

Tasmusica broadcasts every Tuesday 7-8pm AEST and every Sunday from 5-6pm. Tasmusica exists to provide a platform for local artists, both established and emerging, to receive radio play that they otherwise would not receive.

Tasmusica is not genre specific - all styles of music are embraced from harpists through to death metal. On average, 30 local acts are interviewed on the program each year, many of them choosing to bring their acoustic guitars into the studio for a spontaneous live set.
