About the Host

Dr Louise Grimmer is the host of Shopology. Louise is a retail marketing academic and expert at the University of Tasmania. Louise is regularly sought out for expert comment by local, national and international media outlets and she regularly writes for The Conversation. Louise recently presented 'Rise and fall: A brief history of the department store' as part of the University of Tasmania's 'Island of Ideas' Public Lecture Series and she was also recently interviewed on ABC Radio National 'Life Matters' program about Coronavirus and how we shop.
