Soul, latin boogaloo, funk and afrobeat from the 50's through to modern day artists. Occasionally the odd jazz or old-school hip-hop record, maybe some funky breaks, soulful house, or other world music styles (cumbia, brazilian etc.). If it's soulful or funky you can expect to hear it on this show! I try to keep the music (mostly) upbeat due to the programs' timeslot, however, what's a soul show without the occasional tear-jerking ballad?
